Welcome to to the home page of the "Law Librarians in Virtual Worlds" workshop (April-Aug. 2008). This free AALL-BNA sponsored workshop, open to law librarians, law students and library students, will be held primarily in the virtual world of Second Life.

The closing webinar, which took place August 27, includes a review of the workshop, lessons learned, and features class participants Diane Murley (SL: 'Jezzie Woodget') and Lyonette Louis-Jacques (SL: 'Montserrat Biedermann') as well as coordinator Kate Fitz (SL: 'Cat Galileo').

- Use the "Navigation" menu on the left to select a page to visit. If you have trouble seeing all the options, enlarge the menu by dragging the lower border down.
- Click on "Discussion Forum" on the left, or "Threads" at the bottom of each page, to post questions or comments; all workshop participants can view these and respond.
- Use the "Page toolbox" menu on the right to edit or add pages. All participants will have editing capability. Help build the list of resources by adding websites, articles, or SL locations that you find interesting or useful.

Welcome to the workshop. I'm still frantically setting up the material for units 2-5! I'm a very excited that so many people are interested, and a little bit surprised too.
I'll be holding office hours at 9am (Pacific) Wednesdays and Saturdays. Why those times? I will be at home with my nice computer, instead of at work with my underpowered one -- it will run SL but it's painful. However, I know some people can't make those times, so I'm working on another office hour. Thursdays, at 10:30-11:30 Pacific work for folks? Thanks!
